The LightEST Vest for Women is the 2025 update to the lightest weight vest we had ever made, the Featherweight Vest introduced in 2015. We honored the iconic vest and kept your favorite parts - exceptionally lightweight fabric and secure pockets!
The LightEST Vest is super soft and light as a feather! The 16 thoughtfully designed and ergonomically placed pockets offer easy access to all your essentials and eliminate the need to carry a purse or bag. Your valuables will be safe and secure in this stylish vest.
We know you'll love the built-in RFID pocket which removes bulk and streamlines the fit. The new back pocket has both left and right side access zippers. Hidden in the exterior chest pockets are a cell phone pocket-in-pocket on one side and an eyeglass/sunglass pocket-in-pocket and attached chamois on the other. And, by popular demand, it comes in purple!

We process and ship orders very quickly. Orders placed Monday through Friday before 11am Mountain Time will ship the same day. Orders placed after 11am Mountain Time will ship the following business day.
During the holidays, expect 1-3 day delays for ground shipping. We will do our best to ship orders with expedited shipping on our usual schedule.
Returns/Exchanges
We offer a 30 day return/exchange policy. All returns must be unwashed/unaltered and in new condition with tags still attached.
Outlet items, Final Sale items, Gift Boxes and Underwear removed from packaging cannot be returned. If your cart contains any All Sales Final items, you will be notified in checkout prior to completing your order.
Domestic Shipments
We ship orders via UPS. Ground shipping is free for orders over $200 and $8 for orders under $200. We offer UPS expedited shipping with our discounted real time rates to your address. UPS Next Day Air orders shipped on Friday will be delivered on Monday. Saturday delivery is available for some addresses at an additional cost. If you would like Saturday delivery, please contact our Customer Service Team.
International Shipments
We ship international orders via UPS and the US Postal Service. Click the flag icon for detailed information about shipping to your country. International shipping costs are determined by the shipper and are based on the shipping address and weight of the package. For US Postal Service (USPS) shipments, the shipment will be transferred to your local postal service when it reaches your country. To determine shipping and related costs before placing an order, enter the products you wish to order in your cart and begin the checkout process (you do not need to complete the order to see this information).
Please note: International shipping costs do NOT include duties, tariffs or related brokerage fees. You will need to pay any duties/taxes upon delivery. You can contact your local customs office for an estimate of these fees. SCOTTeVEST will not refund costs for items purchased or shipping charges if a customer refuses to pay these fees.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly accept the merchandise for return or exchange provided:
- It is in new condition
- It has not been washed, worn or altered
- Hangtags are still attached
- An RMA number is included with the merchandise (Click here to obtain RMA number)
- It is returned according to the schedule below

For returns, you are responsible for paying the shipping to return the item(s) to our warehouse. For exchanges, you are responsible for paying the shipping to get the original garment sent to our warehouse and we will pay the ground shipping cost to send the exchange to you for domestic orders. For international orders, you will be responsible for the return shipping on your exchange as well as the shipment cost for the exchanged item.

I fly with my two Pomeranians (4lbs plus 6 lbs) and a carryon as I despise checking my bag. I need to be sure the dog carrier meets the 17 lbs max. At the same time I want access to my work MacBook, iPad mini, personal 10” Microsoft Surface Go and contents of my purse. There’s always a risk that my carryon will get gate checked and if I’m stuck at the gate digging out things I don’t want checked then I’m going to get stuck with a bad seat on Southwest. When you bring a dog carrier you get charged but you are still limited to the same number of carryon items = 2. I bought the Chloe hoodie first. It fit everything and I like its look but it’s a short jacket and when I stop in Chicago to see a friend in the Winter it isn’t long enough. This caused me to have to wear and drag around the Chloe plus another longer jacket which in practice was bulky and too warm for indoors. Therefore I decided to get this lightweight vest in both black and lavender to wear under whatever coat I’d like to wear. The material is nice and I bought an XL in both the Chloe hoodie and this vest. I’m 5 foot 5 inches and overweight- they both fit but with everything loaded the vest doesn’t zip but the Chloe will. I gave the vest a 4 because it does what they say it should. I can fit a current model MacBook Air 13” in the zip pocket on the right (as pictured). The back pocket goes all the way from one side to the other and fits my iPad Mini and 10” Surface Go 3. The pockets that open to the outside fit…

My primary reason for buying this vest was plane travel since rules for personal items and carry on bags are increasingly restrictive. I love the vest! I gave it a 4 star rating - only because although the vest is a size XL and my iPad Pro falls within the indicated 13” limits, the zipper for the back tablet pocket is too narrow for the width of the device. The vest fits my iPad mini so I will use it for leisure trips, I just can’t use it for business. I had planned on also getting the vest in Purple Haze if the Stone worked out, so I will definitely watch to see if they lengthen the back zippers so the iPad Pro will fit.
